This industrial work lamp was originally designed by industrial designer and engineer Curt Fischer for Midgard, Germany. On the occasion of poor lighting conditions in his own company, Fischer invented and built the first movable steering lamps with his company Midgard, a real innovation at the beginning of the 20th century, which was used in numerous applications at the Bauhaus under Walter Gropius. Curt Fischer is regarded as the inventor of steerable light with his patent from 1919. The lamp has minor scuffs from age and use. Comes with a standard European two pin power plug.
